1. Acceptance of Terms

   By downloading or using SilentBliss, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

   SilentBliss is a personal focus and notification-management tool. It helps you silence notifications, activate iOS Focus modes, and connect with friends to build focus habits together.

3. Subscription & Payments

   • SilentBliss offers auto-renewing subscriptions ($9.99/month or $59.99/year after a 7-day free trial).
   • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
   • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
   • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

4. Free Trial & Cancellation

   • New users receive a 7-day free trial.
   • You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
   • No refunds for partial months/years after charging.

5. Privacy & Data Collection (NEW)

   To provide social features, SilentBliss collects and processes certain information:

   • Phone Number & Authentication: We use SMS authentication (via Firebase) to verify your identity and secure your account. Your phone number is stored securely to allow friends to find you. • Contact Syncing: To help you find friends already using SilentBliss, we ask for permission to access your device's contacts. We cryptographically hash your contacts' phone numbers on your device before comparing them with our database. We do not store your raw address book data. • Real-time Status & Leaderboards: When you activate a focus session, your "In the Zone" status and weekly focus minutes are saved to our secure cloud database (Firebase Firestore) and shared with your mutual friends on the app's leaderboard.

6. Changes to Service or Pricing

   We may modify, suspend, or discontinue SilentBliss (or any part) at any time. Pricing is subject to change with notice.

7. User Responsibilities

   You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to use SilentBliss for any unlawful purpose or to abuse the social features.

8. Limitation of Liability

   To the fullest extent permitted by law, SilentBliss and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

   We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason.

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
